Vision Graphics Upgrades To XMPie uStore Version 4.0
June 21, 2010—Vision Graphics has completed the upgrade of XMPie uStore to the most current version 4.0. This upgrade to our digital portal technology includes past bug fixes as well as new features, such as: anonymous shopping, SEO/ability to add searchable terms to products or stores, CAPTCHA validation plug-in, user groups and permission managment, enhanced image upload handling, Ogone payment gateway plug-in, cross-selling, draft naming, and more. Perhaps the most exciting of these enhancements is the user groups and permission management - which will allow for products and users to be put into groups with different permissions. These permissions will allow storefront administrators to control visibility of products for different user groups as well as controlling the back office accessibility for user management, order queues and reports.

On the one hand, companies want to capitalize on the strength of their brand identity by bringing a consistent look and feel to their customer communications. On the other hand they also want to enpower their local branches to easily and efficiently create collateral for their specific locations, campaigns and events.
When XMPie uStore is deployed as a marketing portal, enterprises large and small, can make XMPie document personalization technology available within a Web-to-print e-commerce environment. With this technology, end users can create marketing materials that abide by the company's corporate identity and branding guidelines, yet deliver a customized and personalized piece.
